Jackson’s UGA Graduate Portraits on historic north campus and at sanford stadium

This graduation session with Jackson held a special place in my heart from the very beginning. As a close friend of my sister’s, photographing him felt less like work and more like celebrating someone who already felt like family. Being trusted with moments like this is something I never take lightly.

Watching Jackson grow throughout his college years, even just from the sidelines, has been such a gift. Capturing this final chapter at the University of Georgia felt like honoring not only the accomplishment of graduating, but the years of growth, discipline, and dedication that brought him here. I am so proud of him as he steps into his next season as a Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual.

We began his session on North Campus, capturing all the classic and beautiful historic spots that make North Campus so special. Jackson was such a trooper navigating the longer lines that naturally come with these locations later in the Spring semester. Experiences like this are what have encouraged me to guide my graduates toward earlier spring sessions, so our time together can be spent fully documenting your story rather than waiting in line. Getting on my calendar early truly allows for a more relaxed and meaningful experience.

From there, we headed to Sanford Stadium just in time for the most perfect sunset. The golden light over the stadium felt like the right way to close out such a meaningful session and a chapter worth celebrating.

And of course, I would be remiss not to mention the true star of the session, his dog Ella. She may very well be the most well behaved dog I have ever photographed and added so much joy to an already special evening.

Jackson, it was such an honor to capture this milestone for you. I am so proud of all that you have accomplished and cannot wait to see what this next chapter holds.
