Milam Family Session at Almosta Farm and Depot

What a treat it was to photograph the Milam crew on such a beautiful morning at Almosta Farm and Depot! This location, my in-laws’ dreamy photography venue in middle Georgia, is always magical, but it was even more special getting to reconnect with Maja, who just so happened to be my high school librarian! Seeing her now with her own sweet family made this session feel extra full-circle and full of heart.

Their daughter was the definition of a wild child (in the best way!) running through the flowers, twirling her dress like it was her job, and flashing the biggest grins you’ve ever seen. Meanwhile, big brother was the calm in the cutest storm, patiently trying to wrangle his sister for the camera, going with the flow, and sneaking in a few giggles of his own. Their sibling energy was so fun to watch. Equal parts chaos and sweetness.

The Milams are kind, genuine, and clearly raising their kids with a whole lot of love. Sessions like this remind me why I love what I do, capturing real moments, chasing kiddos in a field of flowers, laughing until my stomach hurts and all the in-between. Milam family, thank you for the laughs, the twirls, and hanging in there with me on a hot June morning!
