Jordyn’s Senior Portraits at Harris Shoals Park

Photographing Jordyn’s senior session was an extra-special experience for me, as this beautiful young woman is not only a senior in high school but shares so many of my favorite memories behind the camera. I’ve had the honor of photographing Jordyn, her two sisters, and their mama since 2017, and to say these ladies have my full heart would be an understatement. We’ve celebrated so many milestones together—everything from my college graduation to getting engaged and married—and now, to be a part of Jordyn’s senior year, feels like another full-circle moment.

What made this session even sweeter is the fact that, little did any of us know at the time, my daughter Addie Mae was already growing in my belly. While I was behind the lens capturing Jordyn’s beautiful soul, these girls were cheering me on as they always have. Jordyn has this effortless, go-with-the-flow energy that made her session such a breeze. She was as graceful as ever, and the setting at Harris Shoals Park in Watkinsville couldn’t have been more perfect for her vibe. The mix of whimsical and ethereal feels, paired with the soft, golden light of the evening created the most magical backdrop for her photos. And that green olive dress? Absolutely stunning!

One of my favorite moments from the day was getting to photograph Jordyn with her childhood dog, King Popsicle Buddy. Jordyn, I’m so thankful you and your family made the trip to see me for this session. You’re as beautiful inside as you are out, and I’m excited to see what’s next for you as you wrap up this chapter. I can’t wait for part two of your senior session—there’s so much more to come!
